It’s a prestigious award that annually recognizes outstanding achievement by a sheriff’s office in support of victims. Under the leadership of Sheriff Rick Staly, FCSO has developed a culture, team, policies, programs, and resources that put the needs of victims first in everything the organization does each day. It provides law enforcement services for more than 130,000 residents in an area that continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in the state and nation. After taking office in 2017, Sheriff Staly developed a Guardianship Policing Model, a methodology that ensures crime prevention is truly a community effort. Through this model, FCSO consistently delivers exceptional services to victims of crimes with the help of the many alliances the organization has built throughout Flagler County with community groups, neighborhood associations, civic associations, businesses, and schools. Under these and other directives, FCSO achieved a 54% crime reduction between 2017 and 2022. These efforts are also due in large part to the many programs and campaigns designed to keep citizens from becoming victims of crime and from becoming targets for criminals. “We are very honored to receive notification of this award. I’m honored the dedicated professionals we have working at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, especially in our Victim Services and Behavioral Response Units, are being recognized by NSA,” said Sheriff Staly. “We will continue to raise the bar on victim services.” The award will be presented to FCSO at the 2024 NSA Annual Conference in Oklahoma City this summer. Can you believe the vitriol emanating out of Biden’s White House over the accidental deaths of the Kitchen Aid workers by Israel?
Biden and Infamy didn’t complain about the Hamas atrocities as much on October 7th.
“Shit” happens in war and when Israeli IDF soldiers lose their lives, or the IDF accidently killed Israeli hostages who escaped Hamas and were waving a white flag that was deemed “Friendly fire”is regrettable, tragic and if the Emperor of Japan had unconditionally surrendered after the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Nagasaki would have not entered into history.
He didn’t believe that the Americans had more than one atomic bomb.
There was nothing friendly about it, and anyone who has ever been in a fire fight knows the bullets flying through the air or shrapnel could penetrate anything that gets in the way.
None of Biden’s inner circle have any wartime experience. And judging how our government has been responding to the Houthis missile attacks on ours and our allies shipping in the Red Sea, this calamity is just going to get worse.
Can you imagine Biden being POTUS after Dec.7th or POTUS instead of FDR or PM of England instead of Churchill in 1939?
If the deaths of the Kitchen Workers were killed by Hamas, Iran and its proxies they would vehemently swear that they never purposely or accidently had anything to do with the deaths. They would make sure the Israelis were blamed and Biden and Blinken would make certain to point their fingers on them and chastise them, once more.
And to make it worse, its dividing the Israeli population instead of saying to Biden and the world, “What about the 1,200 Israelis slaughtered by Hamas that were systematically subjected to a level of barbarism not seen since the Holocaust?”
And our hostages still are undergoing horrific sexual abuse.
Seven months of fighting Hamas’ tunnels and shelters under schools, hospitals and Mosques all paid for by the American taxpayer, who paid for the rebuilding after every war first begun by Hamas’ terrorists.
Millions of dollars spent on concrete never made it to the schools, but to the underground tunnels constructed under the instructions of Iran.
There is a rabbi, Dina Porat of a NYC synagogue who questions, like my friend David Metzger just did of me, “Why don’t American Jews fight back.” Great question, now if 5 million more Jews if they asked the same question, then maybe Jews would start fighting back, before the get thrown out of of America.
More and more illegal Chinese “immigrants” are presenting themselves to our military bases and refusing to leave when ordered.
Unlike in China, N. Korea, Iran and dozens of other nations, the U.S. does not open fire automatically and kill them, but we know they are following Xi’s orders and what will happen next will not bode well for America or the world.
Yesterday, Thursday, major Jewish organizations viewed on TV delivered 180,000 letters from American Jews to the White House in support of Israel against Hamas and the other Iranian proxies currently at war to the death of Israel
What idiot thought of this absurd stunt assuming that anyone on the receiving end could actually read or even read one letter or would ever care to think about it?
It would have been far more powerful if instead of 180,000 letters, 180,000 Jews in person would have demonstrated in front of the White House or the beach where Biden and Jill are sunbathing.
When do Jews say “Enough” and arm themselves with the weapons to do what their enemies want to do to them?
And today Israel sacrificed 2 of its, obviously senior officers, as sacrificial lambs to assuage Biden’s hatred of Bibi.
Does anyone remember that israel is a nuclear armed nation and could have wiped out all Iran and its proxies on October 8th?
Israel still might be destroyed and this Hamas war is far from over unless Israel pulls a Truman and nuclear destroys our greatest enemies since WWII!

Jews in America have long been the target of White Supremacists, neo-Nazis and the KKK.
Today Jews have been murdered by Blacks spearheaded by the BLACK LIBERATION MOVEMENTnow known as BLM, and by those incited by the racist Al Sharpton, the #1 visitor to the Obama White House and the man responsible for the deaths of the 2 Jewish owners of a Harlem furniture store and the Orthodox visiting scholar from Australia murdered, again by the incitements of Al Sharpton in Crown Heights, Brooklyn when David Dinkins, a Black was mayor.
Never forget the Jew hatred of Louis Farrakan and his Nation of Islam.
Years ago he called for a million man march on D.C. and they came.
Can you see that kind of crowd of Jews doing the same?
And the most dangerous and growing threat to American-Jews and to America itself, is the growing presence of Muslim-Arabs in the many thousands waving PLO flags and despite that America saved them and their families from a dismal life in an American supported Refugee Camp they still hate Jews, Israel, Christianity and America.
The proof of their hatred is the need for Biden to send his minions to MN to appease these haters.
I hope when Trump is triumphant he will strip them all of their citizenship like those of Rashida T’slib and Omar Ilhan.
For millennium we have not fought, except for the Zionists and Israelis, although we fought and defeated larger armies in the past over our many thousands of years of history.
Purim recalls the saving of the Jews in Persia which were slated to be totally wiped out by the evil Hamen and saved by Queen Esther revealing her Judaism to her husband the King.
Instead the Jews wiped out thousands of Haman’s followers and we get to eat Haman’s ears on Purim.
Jewish existence has been in peril for those thousand plus year and banishment, forced conversions, rapes, insecurity, all crying the word Shoa and Holocaust has been the plight of much of modern day Jewish life.
And if Iran and the Islamic Jihadists would be victorious, perhaps Judaism, and certainly Israel, just might disappear forever.
Was it just a coincidence that forces of nature violently clashed in the early part of the 20th century?
1. French-Jewish Naval Captain Alfred Dreyfuss was accused of spying for Germany.
The mobs in Paris called for “Death to the Jews”, not unlike those currently being shouted throughout America and a large portion of our known world.
Dreyfuss was sentenced to Devil’s Island,a hell hole.
2. French writer, a non-Jew, Emile Zola investigated the Dreyfuss affair and discovered that the actual traitors were fellow French officers in the pay of the German government and exposed the truth which led to the exoneration of Dreyfuss, who returned to duty.
3. In Austria, a dandified, assimilated Jewish playwright Theodore Herzl had been so shocked at the Dreyfuss Affair that he concluded that the Jews needed their own nation and wrote the book “Zion” which went on to found the Zionist movement among Jews.
4. At the beginning of WWI in 1914 the British were losing the War in the Atlantic because they couldn’t produce the needed armaments needed to fight the German battleships.
Why? The Germans had a monopoly on Acetone, the key ingredient needed for the arms production.
A Jewish-British chemist named Chaim Weizmann synthesized Acetone, the British produced the armaments and won the Battle of the Atlantic.
5. After WWI, a grateful British government wanted to bestow a Knighthood on Chaim Weizmann, who became in later life the first President of Israel in 1948. Weizmann declined and made this request.
“Make Palestine, which was once part of the now defeated Ottoman Empire, a homeland for the Jews, which is their ancestral home where they were exiled by the Romans after their 2nd revolt and the destruction of their Holy Temple.”
He asked England to allow them to return and Palestine by Mark Twain’s book “Innocents Abroad” described the absolute desolation of Ottoman Palestine.
That’s not what the “Arab” propagandists say about life in Palestine under the Ottoman’s.
It didn’t take the English very long to renege on their pledge once oil was discovered in the Middle East and like today they sabotaged the nascent State of Israel as much as they could to bend over backwards to the Arab nations.

Recently, I had contacted the Chabad movement HQ in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and offered them a plan to stop the Black’s attacks on innocent Jews .
I told them I would not charge them one penny, but all the attacks on Jews would cease between 3-6 months and not resume.
Their response: NO THANKS!
Actually, one of Rabbi Meir Khana’s co-religionists, stated, “Good, we got rid of a troublemaker.” Not that he was a David vs Goliath, but they saw him as a “troublemaker”.
That’s what from the 17th century till now has produced and non-religious American Jews (Schumer) just ignore the violence and the attacks on their synagogues and the Jews worshiping inside.
They can wipe out their haters, but they make believe it is not happening. We don’t always learn from history, do we?
Where does this hatred come from without being confronted?
Jews outside, and sometimes inside Israel are governed by the weakest and most effete leaders like those of the billionaire class like the Bronfmans, the Lauders, Jason Greenblatt, the former ADL Director Abe Foxman with his 300K salary and bodyguards who are an embarrassment to the name Jew or Jews.
You asked me what I thought. I hope I was able to give you some insight.
That tiny piece of land which G-d made Moses bring his people after freeing them from 400 years of bondage and all that happened to them from the parting of the Red Sea till today is extraordinary.
That tiny Israel is today, this very moment, in an existential fight for its very life and she holds a nuclear arsenal capable of destroying all her enemies in moments, and doesn’t use them is reminiscent of the beliefs of the Jewish scientists who designed the atomic bombs at Los Alamos on the Manhattan Project.
To a man, including its leader Oppenheimer, they were all lifelong pacifists and all voiced opposition to its being used against the most vicious and cruel enemies Germany and Japan.
I only regret that Germany had already surrendered before we dropped the 2 bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Thank G-d for Truman and I will forever despise FDR for not saving the Jews of Europe, other than the handful of scientists we needed for America’s defense.

I find that whenever I read one of Galston’s columns he’s going to consistently exhibit an anti-Jew, anti-Israel bias and yesterday (Wed. 3/20/24) he was in top form.
They tried a 2 State solution with Gaza since Israel withdrew from captured Egyptian-Gaza in the Six Day War begun by Nasser’s promise to eradicate the Jewish State. Israel had developed multi-million dollar tomato exports which she turned over in 2002 to Yasir Arafat’s PLO. The PLO razed those income producing enterprises to the ground to prevent a nascent democracy ever from developing in Gaza and Hamas “won” the 2005 elections.
That was the 2 State Solution which descended into depravity and barbarism war after war with Israel until October 7th.
I could only wish that there was an island a thousand miles from the Middle East that they could declare their 2nd State, but alas time and history dictates that peace is not close at hand, but then, William A. Galston would be unable to understand that.

Dear Editor,
Not buried on the last pages of today’s WSJ, but on the first page is the story recounted by released Hamas captives that they were brutally treated by Israeli IDF soldiers.
The words “Released”, “Brutalized” “Praying just to survive” stand out because the truth is that they are still alive, and not being held hostage, and still have their tongues, their groins, their lives, as opposed to the atrocities they and their Hamas terrorists committed against innocent young infants, children, mothers and fathers on October 7th.
Israel and every decent person in the world should never forgive or forget what happened that day and continues to happen despite the Biden administration’s actions to force Israel into an unsustained ceasefire and ultimate defeat, until the next time.
If Joe Biden was POTUS during WWII would he have been able to order the use of our Atomic weapons against Japan or would he, as he did as VPOTUS under Obama be the only one to object to the assassination of Osama bin Laden, responsible for 9/11?
I think we might still be fighting if it was up to him.

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) yesterday interviewed Special Counsel Hur in which he inferred that Hur was hoping to get a Federal Judgeship out of his findings about the culpability of Pres. Biden.
It should be noted that Rep. Johnson, years ago, once interviewed a Navy Admiral at a Congressional hearing and asked the Admiral “If he wasn’t concerned if too many people were on Guam at one time, that it wouldn’t sink?”
Sadly this is the State of our Republic and those who run our government and our lives at the moment!

Did you know that Gaza has the highest birth rate in the world?
For a people who survived on the generosity, mostly of Americans, and who live in abject poverty, it doesn’t prevent them from having huge families.
They are taught by their parents, their relatives, their teachers and their Iman’s in their numerous Mosques to hate.
Congresswoman Rashida T’slib’s own family had 15 children when the American people chose them to be brought from a Refugee Camp to America and look how she repaid us.
Hatred and Venom are the norm for these people and her state of Michigan holds the largest number of Jihadists in America and growing rapidly.
Christian compassion and generosity has virtually destroyed England and France as their Muslim population has continued to expand.
Muslims have continued to demand Sharia Law be the law of the land. NO-GO zones have isolated Muslim neighborhoods from non-Muslim neighborhoods where French police are forbidden to enter.
Can you imagine being forced to cover up nude statues like David at the museum in Italy, here in America?
Or everywhere in America for fear against violent extremism by the growing Muslim population.
75,000 Dearborn Muslim residents waving PLO flags since Hamas attacked Israel is a WAKE-UP CALL for America because they are a disloyal, anti-American, anti-Christian and Jew entity growing as a cancerous tumor.
And Biden, fearing the loss of Michigan in the upcoming national 2024 election, actually sent an emissary from the White House to cajole this Muslim-Jihadist enclave and came away with anti-Israel ceasefire demands for the Israelis fighting an existential threat to the survival of Israel.
Trump, when reelected must strip George Soros and family of any American citizenship and deport the millions of Muslims who openly defy our laws and want to take over America.
America has changed forever thanks to whoever is pulling the Left’s strings and it might be Soros, Obama and the Biden administration’s reprobates from Obama.

Dear Editor,
In the terrible history of warfare, has any combatant who has suffered horrible atrocities to its civilian population not seen since Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun or the Holocaust, given aid and comfort to its attackers?
Recent history is replete with studies how much starving Dutch citizens during WWII had births where the newborns were mentally slow or abnormal and this must hold true for other nations under Nazi occupation. Even the English were being starved by the Nazi submarines destroying American freighters bringing food to our ally.
How could the IDF know if the airdropped aid to Gaza didn’t contain needed armaments and resupply given the nature of their duplicity?
But, once again, on the first page of the WSJ, is the accusations that the IDF killed innocent Gazan citizens.
The WSJ conveniently chooses to forget that Hamas and Iran started the atrocities and the Biden administration is doing everything it can to force Israel to a ceasefire now that she has the upper hand.
WSJ, you make me ashamed of you!

I received a call last week from my oldest friend, now 91,in Israel to tell me about the tragic death of one of the scientists working on that project being killed in Gaza.
That’s the difference between those who hate life as do the enemies of Israel and those in Israel who live life to serve humanity.

Today’s news blared about Venezuelan illegal immigrant street gangs recruiting other illegals together with MS-13 members to form larger gangs in NYC.
Impossible? Not under Joe Biden, Alejandro Mayorkas,Chuck Schumer, Merrick Garland, Sec. of Defense Austin and VP Kamala Harris.
“It was just a bad dream, a nightmare, sweetheart.” “Go back to sleep and tomorrow it will all be all right”.
That’s what we used to tell our children to calm them down after they had a nightmare.
THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!
The nightmare that in America in 2023, there could be tens of thousands or probably more college students marching in unison waving PLO flags calling for the genocide of Jews and Israel, never should have happened, but it did.
And, in the alma mata of Tom Friedman and Angela Davis, Brandeis U. there was actually a chapter of JIP, “Justice in Palestine”, and the members were probably all Jews, until the administration was so humiliated that the fact came out that they expelled the chapter, but should have expelled the students.
And that nightmare duplicated throughout the world in Europe, Australia,which took in 12,000 Muslim refugees and look what is happening there, Canada and Japan is equally terrifying to not every Jew, but to every decent human being.
England and France is overwhelmed by radical Muslims as is smaller Scandinavian countries with its own radical agenda problems surfacing.
Threatening the most peaceful and society beneficial group in our country, the Jews, and getting away with murdering a 59 year old Jewish man who stood up against the protesters and was killed by one of them throwing a megaphone at his head.
And did Jews burn down the city where the murder took place? Did they march in protest waving American and Israeli flags or just Israeli flags?
Did they do anything or just look helpless like victims often do?
YES, they did nothing and maybe it was just a bad nightmare and it will be all better tomorrow!
If you’re old enough to remember the thousands of Nazis who marched throughout the German cities against Jews, then those marches since October 7th should seem familiar.
Or the neo-Nazis who obtained a permit in the predominantly city of Skokie, IL, with a large Holocaust survivor population, to march against the Jews. Makes no sense to me either, but they never did, but could have and the Rabbi told his brethren, “Go to your homes and turn down the window shades.”
That really worked against Hitler, didn’t it?
And the question begs, “How could this have happened?”
Could it have happened to any other group? Italians, Irish, Germans, Protestants, Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists, Blacks, Native Americans?
Not a chance. They would have wiped them off the face of this planet and I would have cheered them on.
It could only happen to the Jews, because over a thousand years of persecution, expulsions, pogroms, the Holocaust and being the scapegoat of Europe, the muscle memory of those terrible days still lingers in our DNA, and instead of fighting, cries out to them to run and save themselves.
I want to know how hundreds of thousands of PLO flags were manufactured here or imported and by whom and what do we do to put those responsible in jail for a very long time.
The problem of Jews being assaulted and attacked in their colleges has never been addressed by the major Jewish organizations, as if it never happened, so ignore it. That’s what happens when you’re weak and helpless. “It was just a bad dream. Go back to sleep.”
This should have been stopped the first day it started and all those involved should have been expelled forever.
There was a time that the free City Colleges were dominated by Jewish students and NYU was called NYJew because of the high numbers of Jews in attendance.
What happened? The City Colleges lowered their standards and look what happened.
600 Medical schools in America have lowered their standards to be able to accomodate Black students without taking the Medical SAT’s or having a 4.0 college grade point or other qualifying criteria that has always made Medical school so difficult to enter.
Lowering our standards so that sub-par students can become doctors, much less becoming airplane pilots or nuclear engineers is like committing suicide.
When in the near future you have to worry about the competency of your doctors or airline pilots or the bridge you drive over, that is a sign of the end of our way of life.
And Community Colleges are cancelling requirements for mathematics and science because their “new’ students are incapable of learning them.
But, Jews are far from weak and helpless because they financially can finance a private army to take the fight to their haters if they had the guts to do so.
At the first sign of harassment of Jews at Brooklyn College 100 tough, Israeli trained covertly dressed as students could have singled out the attackers of Jews and made sure their broken bones would be a long time in healing properly.
This could have been replicated wherever the problem existed.
“If I am not for myself, than who is, remains the existential question for Jews to answer.”
And as Israel fights for her very existence practically battling the world including the U.N., Biden, the E.U., the International Court, practically the entire Muslim world, all the Muslims now in America and in Congress, you begin to understand the dilemma.
Maybe the Jews should have allowed the Samaritans to convert when they wanted to become Jews.
Why don’t the wealthy Jews protect their fellow Jews? Because the Jewish billionaires all seem to be in the Globalist camp and that spells doom with a capital “D”.
The major Jewish organizations have long been led by the children of the super-wealthy Jews like the Bronfman’s or the Lauder’s and others, all of whom have personal bodyguards and are weak to the core.
The largest one, ADL, “Anti-Defamation League” had as its director for years Abe Foxman, himself a Holocaust Survivor at a $300K annual salary and bodyguards.
What was his solution to acts of anti-Jew incidents? He offered the offenders “Seminars”, of which none were ever accepted by the Neo-Nazis or Jew haters and they were never punished properly.
Years ago at a South Florida school students held a “Kick-A-Jew-Day” and Foxman offered the offending students “Seminars” with the same results.
Ask yourselves what would have Farrakhan, Sharpton, or Jackson done if students did that to Black students. EXACTLY, they still would be paying ransom!
Or was it just easier to allow themselves to be forcibly converted or to be Crypto-Jews or Conversos in the Spanish Empire and secretly practice their Judaism?
That’s where the Spanish Inquisition was initiated and it spread to the Spanish and Portuguese colonies of N. America and led to the 16 Portuguese Jews in 1634 from coming to New Amsterdam seeking asylum.
We say in Hebrew “Kashay Lehiot Yehudi”, “It’s difficult to be a Jew.”
The Israelis are 70% secular and many of them say, “Ani loh Yehudi, Ani Israeli”, “I am not a Jew. I’m an Israeli,” Why 70% of them are so delusional, I don’t understand.

Also, since the founding of Israel, the Ultra-religious did not have to serve in the fighting units of the IDF and this bred deep resentment to those who served, were maimed and killed in Israel’s various wars, although some Ultra-religious are now serving in combat units in this current war.
And usually they were the first to be murdered by Arab terrorists, as the 3 religious Jewish students were in the last Gaza War, because they were such an easy target.
Before October 7th Israel was well on to its way of self-imploding with massive demonstrations against PM Bibi Netanyahu, well financed by dark money from Obama and George Soros.
Times change and being hated by so many hundreds of millions of Arabs and having 21% of Muslim-Arabs living among 7 million Jews in Israel, because the Socialist founders of Israel beginning after the Balfour government looked favorably on a Jewish homeland in Palestine, begged the Arabs not to leave.
That was a fatal mistake and it might spell the demise of Israel as their birth rate is so high compared to the Jews. If the enemies of Israel just made a real peace within a fairly short period of time, the Muslim-Arab population would be the dominant group and Israel would disappear, if the democracy worked as a democracy.
But, right now here in America, we are also facing the loss of our country through an organized plan by the far Left to tear down our democracy and with the aid of 10-15 illegal immigrants, build a Marxist dominated country with as the foundation,
NO! It’s going to get a lot worse and I’m holding my breath literally for the kidnappings, the church and synagogue burnings, the coming American Intifada with suicide bombings as the Jihadists in Dearborn, MI and other parts of America begin to show their strength and issue their demands in light of America’s weakness.
Well. the Drug Cartels who have steered 10 million illegals to our shores will be gaining a foothold in America similar to the D-Day, 1944, invasion of Normandy that spelled the end of Hitler’s grasp on Europe and Victory in Europe.
Only this time we, the American people are on the losing side.
It’s bad enough that we are stuck with a totally corrupt tin-horn politician who has embarrassed every American and puts our history to shame with every act of treachery in the name of greed, but now he has sent his emissary to cater to Hamas’ supporters in Dearborn, MI to beg them to vote for him.
And those Arabs in Jihad Dearborn are not afraid to threaten “Genocide Joe”, their motto because they want Joe to force Israel to a ceasefire so the whole process can start again and Hamas can be saved.
These are the same people who have killed our soldiers and are killing our soldiers and he wants to reward them against Israel.
The new Arabs are not afraid of anything that the U.S. could do to them or frighten them, but we have a solution and that is to throw everyone of them out of the country, never to come back again.
Once Trump is victorious it is time for the Palmer Raids of the 1920’s to be reinvigorated and throw all those traitors swiftly back to where they came from Refugee Camp or not, but to stop feeding them and making them strong and hating us more.
These are really dangerous times we live in and I am amazed that China had not already invaded Taiwan or that Putin has not nuked Zelensky’s Ukraine.
It only takes one push of the button to change the world forever, and I think that button has already been pushed.
Let’s get tough and let’s get strong and let’s destroy our enemies before they do it to us.

Dear Editor,
Israel seems to have finally learned the lesson that being nice to people who want to destroy you never ends well.
In 1967 when Israel captured Gaza from Egypt during the 1967 Six-Day War and “settled” it with Israelis bringing, for the first time, an economy to a poverty ridden chunk of land, they thought that the Arabs would come to enjoy a modicum of stability and prosperity.
It never worked out and Israel abandoned multi-million dollar export facilities to the PLA in 2005, which immediately razed them to the ground.
Under Hamas and the PLO since 2007 was even worse than under Egypt.
If Gaza under Hamas was thought to be the “Palestinian” state, which itself is a misnomer, for the term “Palestinians” was a figment of terrorist leader Yasir Arafat, we now know Israel can’t ever have a ticking time bomb besides it.
You can lead people to water, but you can’t force them to drink it, even if it would save their lives.
That’s Israel’s position today and tomorrow.

OUR MEDICAL FREEDOM DILEMMA ………. GOVERNMENT POPULATION CONTROL BEHIND THE SCENES.
You may have noticed starting with your April-May power company electric bill a new charge entitled Storm Surcharge which varies based on the number of kWh of power you use. This is different from another state approved charge which you’ve been billed for entitled Storm Protection Charge which has occurred for much longer.
After waiting 38 mins* (starting approx 9:20 am today) I finally got thru to a TECO Customer Service Agent to ask what the relatively new Storm Surcharge was about. The nice lady I talked with told me this was a new state approved charge to defray costs of hurricane damage to power company facilities, lines, transformers etc. by Hurricane Ian and was temporary e.g. would occur for 12 months (9 more to go).
– I don’t know about you but I received no written notice from TECO explaining this new Storm Surcharge.
The Storm Protection Charge had previously been explained in writing under a page entitled Understanding Your Electric Charge and was defined as – “The cost of additional hardening efforts to further protect the power grid from hurricanes or other extreme weather events. (Note: Nothing about hardening against EMP events).
The very helpful TECO agent told me something else which was very disturbing along the lines of FL govt (I assume FL Dept of Financial Services – Division of Insurance but could be some other agency) was considering requiring every FL property owner be required to purchase flood insurance whether they live in a flood plane or not. I certainly hope this is not true as it would be very unfair for those of us who don’t live on the coasts or in other flood planes to bear the burden of bailing out those who do and suffer storm surges or other flood damage.
– If it turns out this is true then we tax paying property owners who don’t live in flood plains or flood prone areas should fight against this additional govt mandated expense.
*Note – the explanation for why I had to be on hole for so long was that electric company customers, especially the elderly have been inundated with scam calls often using power company phone numbers that they owe X ? on their electric bills and if they didn’t pay within 24 hours their power would be cut off and, link to send ? either by credit cards or with Bit Coins. This, in turn has led to many more phone calls to the power companies by customers. I was told they had reported this to LE agencies but nothing had been done to curtail these scams.

AMEND OR KILL SENATE BILL 252
Congratulations Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Colleen Burton, for singlehandedly destroying our medical heath freedoms by pushing SB252 as well as paving the way and giving our sovereignty to World Health Organization (WHO) to take over all medical decisions made by Floridians! Catering to the pharmaceutical industry and ignoring “YOUR SUPPORTORS” is a BIG misstep. In politics, if you do good you get to take all the credit. On the flip side, if you push bad legislation, you get ALL the blame. In this case, Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Colleen Burton will get all the blame for pushing totalitarian legislation such as SB252. Dr. Ruby’s video accurately addresses this important issue (start time 4:45).
Please CALL and EMAIL Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Colleen Burton several times, as well as your state legislature and let them know they need to protect Floridians by amending SB252 with the following changes:
SB252 MUST INCLUDE:
Ø protections from all forced vaccines;
Ø vaccine discrimination penalties;
Ø any and all vaccine passports;
Ø the END to ALL mandatory state vaccination tracking, which was set up by DeSantis in March of 2021, which still exists;
Ø Immunity will not apply when the healthcare provider refuses to give a medical treatment that the patient or the patient’s healthcare power of attorney requests or when an action or medical treatment was performed against the will of the patient or the patient’s healthcare power of attorney;
Ø No legislation supersedes the will and the rights of the patient in determining his or her care including transfer to a facility which offers alternative drugs prescribed off label and nutraceuticals.
SB 252 MUST REMOVE:
- any clause referencing international health organizations (or remove “unless authorized to do so under state law, rule, or executive order issued by the Governor under s252.36”)
- any hands off to the federal government for vaccine exemptions

Ron DeSantis (R) steered $92 million last year in leftover federal coronavirus stimulus money to a controversial highway interchange project that directly benefits a top political donor, according to state records. The decision by the Florida Department of Transportation to use money from the 2021 American Rescue Plan for the I-95 interchange at Pioneer Trail Road near Daytona Beach fulfilled a years-long effort by Mori Hosseini, a politically connected housing developer who owns two large tracts of largely forested land abutting the planned interchange. The funding through the DeSantis administration, approved shortly after the governor’s reelection, expedited the project by more than a decade, according to state documents. Hosseini plans to develop the land — which includes a sensitive watershed once targeted for conservation by the state — into approximately 1,300 dwelling units and 650,000 square feet of nonresidential use, including an outdoor village shopping district. He has called the Woodhaven development, which has already begun construction, his “best project yet” and promised to pull out all the stops for its success.

Dear Friends: I’m forwarding this Epoch Times article because it brings out some important points…directly and indirectly…about the two leading Republican candidates for president, former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Read the article first because it’s a good lead-in to my comments that follow. Before I get fully started, let me be clear, this commentary is not for those who are hopelessly stricken by the so-called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). I wish it could be otherwise because, I dare say, most if not all need Christ in their life…and, believe it or not, the fundamental message herein is spiritual, sincerely crying out for an awakening of those lost in their sins and dragging their country down with them. The actor, Robert DeNiro, for some reason comes to mind…perhaps because, while being a gifted actor, in real life he doesn’t impress one as a great thinker or as a person you might like to have on your debate team. Those who have heard him sound off with meaningless profane utterances against the former president will understand that anything in the least that is pro-Trump will only trigger more nonsense from him and other TDS-afflicted simpletons. Then, this is a paper that basically aims in on a political battle the outcome of which could very well have a bearing on whether our country, founded on Judeo-Christian principles, survives as a free and independent nation or not. Accordingly, I will spend a good bit of time going spiritual…because based on the reality of God’s Word, that’s where the main battle resides (see Ephesians 6:12). That being so, let’s continue to rely on the ultimate authority, our triune God and His Word. There we will discover two additional and pertinent Old Testament scriptures that we can readily apply to our conditions today. First, we find one of God’s ruling proclamations in Daniel 4:17b (KJV), to wit “….that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Put a place mark there and go next to 2 Chronicles 7:14; here’s the King James Version, as follows: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” The next important question to ask ourselves then is: What is God’s purpose in placing America in such disreputable “the basest of men” hands? For the answer we need to look at the church in America. Just recently, it was reported that there has been about a 15-20% decline since the 1990s in American families who consider religion as a priority in their family activities or commitments. I don’t particularly like the terms in which the survey was expressed, but it certainly reflects a trend away from faith in Almighty God. That in turn places attention on the state of the church in the United States and that attention has to weigh in on the negative side of the scale as to the community of professing believers and their commitments to Christ. Thus, the appropriateness and timeliness of 2 Chronicles 7:14 for our current predicaments brought on largely by the indifference of much of our people to sin, as defined by the Ten Commandments, and towards the demagogues that now rule over us. Okay, let’s take a pause on the spiritual issues at hand and redirect our attention to the worldly issues. There are currently six candidates in the running and we can expect several more before the full slate is complete, the most prominent one still unfiled probably being former VP Mike Pence. Nonetheless, the two candidates that most likely will prevail will be Trump and DeSantis, with the former president currently holding a commanding lead (about 30-35 points) over the popular Florida governor.
Of course, it is very early, and a lot can change over the next several months. Nevertheless, I’d like to share some key issues with you that will play into a comparative judgment in the matchup between DeSantis and Trump. Specifically, who might be the better candidate for America to go against the Democrat incumbent or nominee, be it Biden or some other candidate to be named later, say, at the Democrat convention? I’m guessing right now it will not be Biden, but what difference does it make? Well, for one, we certainly can expect the cognitive powers to be considerably improved. Still, she or he will remain a puppet to the enemy forces who have been running things since hapless Joe occupied the WH. Here are some of the points that now occupy my mind concerning the subject match up: + Point One: Before Governor DeSantis decided to throw his hat in the ring I considered what would be best for America, for conservative unity, and be the least desirable for the opposition. Here in italics was my preference then and it is now, of course, a lost hope, given the Governor’s recent announcement: The Governor serves out his second term and early in 2027 joins up with the Trump administration in some official capacity. That would set him up for a run at president in 2028 to continue at least eight more years of the MAGA movement and an increasingly stronger America. Something that all tyrants around the globe would have to have second and third thoughts before they would move to challenge our authority in any confrontation in a peace through strength demonstration. Well, my wishful thinking has gone up in smoke and now to the delight of the opposition we have at present the two best Republican candidates for president at each others throat. One last thing, here recently the Governor keeps hammering on the possibility that his candidacy could represent a potential for 8 years in the WH, while Trump can only produce 4 years. How shortsighted. A Trump-DeSantis one-two punch could give America at least a full 12 years of MAGA magnificence. Fact One: Governor DeSantis’ entry into the presidential race is not good for America, but great for the opposition.
+ Point Two: In 2018 former Florida Representative Ron DeSantis (6th congressional district) was elected to be governor of Florida over the very liberal Democrat mayor of Tallahassee, Andrew Gillum, by a very slim 32,463 vote margin. Of all the votes cast that’s less than a 0.4% difference…yes, squeaky close. After the required recount was complete it was verified that neither of the two major candidates received over 50% of the vote. Fact Two: Given all of that, anyone who tries to argue that President Trump’s endorsement of DeSantis and his July 31st MAGA rally in Tampa, centered around Ron DeSantis for governor, did not lift him (DeSantis) to victory in November 2018 will lose his argument hands down.
+ Point Three: Governor DeSantis was re-elected to another 4-year term of office in November 2022 in a landslide over his RINO turned Independent turned Democrat lackluster opponent, Charlie Crist. The resounding victory (59.4% to 40.0%) was well deserved and surprised no one with an ounce of common sense applied to the politics of the day. This noteworthy outcome took place despite an all-out effort by the Democrat Party and their bedfellows, the major media, against a DeSantis re-election. No doubt, the governor earned every bit of his enormous win with the voters because he excelled in running the state in his first term, especially in strong contrast to the hapless running of the country by the puppet Biden administration (2021-2022). But, there still is this following important point to contemplate. Fact Three: President Trump gathered over 1 million more Floridian votes in 2020 than Governor DeSantis did in 2022. + Point Four: The constitutional requirements for the office of president of the United States are:
(a) Be a natural-born citizen of the United States.
(b) Be at least 35 years old.
(c) Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years. That’s it; and there’s absolutely no religious test. Holy Roller, just fine; Atheist, sure; Muslim, okay; Buddhist, positively; Basest of Men, absolutely; and, oh yes, One who doesn’t know it’s Second Corinthians not Two Corinthians, w/o a doubt. And, of course, legal immigrant and illegal alien absolutely not. Now, I know you can hardly wait for this one: There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents someone who has been charged or convicted of a crime from seeking or taking, if elected, the office of president of the United States. There is also nothing in the Constitution barring someone found liable in a civil suit from entering the WH. But, don’t put it past the opposition to try and manufacture something that out of the gate would be unconstitutional. One more thing: Those couple of third world country impeachment proceedings brought by the Pelosi House and kangaroo court, that went nowhere in the Senate, have absolutely no bearing or influence on the qualification issue. Fact Four: Both candidates are highly qualified to run for president.
+ Point Five: Politics can be a nasty vocation. Yes, it’s a real step down for some who can’t refuse the urge to make it a full life’s career like, say, gaffe-prone Joe Biden, who became a rich man in the process. Go figure. But wait, don’t be too quick to jump for joy because there’s many look-a-likes in good old Joe’s nemesis, namely that Grand Old Party (GOP). Now let’s again go deep into God’s Word: Many, not all, but many if not most, are drawn to this vocation by a sinister set of temptations that are covered in depth throughout the Bible. To pick just two such spots, one would have to go first to Genesis 3 to show by satanic demonstration a cause and effect tragic scenario; then much later by orderly summation this menacing dynamic is outlined in 1 John 2:15-17. Now, with that said, it is quite obvious that the good governor of Florida in his impatience couldn’t wait for his perfect time to strike and carry on a coordinated long term attack against the forces of evil now in residence inside the Beltway of Washington, D.C. (See my discussion accompanying Fact One above). He allowed himself to be victim of this evil force to pursue the presidency ahead of a more ideal time. But we can’t stop there. We have the other candidate to consider. Now, we’d be hard pressed to find a more worldly man than Donald J. Trump. He’s obviously been a captive of this set of temptations on many occasions (as have we) but for him most related to his fortune building career all before his political ambitions came into play. Okay, if one stops to consider the two candidates, there is a clear difference on the political scale of things. Trump had it made, so to speak. The last thing he needed to clutter up his life with was a world of cut-throat politics. And, as it turned out, no other president in my lifetime faced the accumulation of cut-throat politics that he did in his first term. Why under God’s heaven would he run in the first place? And now, knowing what’s ahead in his quest for a second term, why would he wish to put himself through the grinder again? He’s a fighter, you say. Yes, that’s true but it’s much more than that. I say it’s love of country. Fact Five: Both candidates have been captives of the sinister set of temptations referred to in God’s Word…again, as have we, we’re not perfect either. But, in the quest for the presidency Trump’s motivations are of a higher quality and for a more pure purpose for America and the people of America. To bolster that, we have the benefit and evidence of his previous four years and his making good on his promises…to say the very least. On the other hand, DeSantis needs more time to gain valuable experience in national and international affairs and to polish up his act.
+ Point Six: No discussion needed. Fact Six: Former President Trump can hit the ground running on day one of his second term. Not only that, he’s a lot smarter person about the deep state mess and other pressing domestic and foreign issues. A President DeSantis has no such advantage.
+ Point Seven: No discussion needed. Fact Seven: In order to be an effective president, whether Trump or DeSantis, the Congress and most of the states must be controlled by the GOP. In my mind, that will be greatest hurdle to overcome. (4) Promise – From Abraham to Moses. Ends with the refusal to enter Canaan and the 40 years of unbelief in the wilderness.
(5) Law – From Moses to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Ends with the scattering of Israel in AD70.
(6) Grace – From the Cross to the rapture of the Church. The rapture is followed by the wrath of God constituting the Great Tribulation.
